Well we've been in Brisbane for just under two weeks, staying a little longer cos we're looking for fruit picking work and i hate to admit it but the weather has'nt been very nice! Its very hot and sticky all the time, havent straightened my hair in weeks! but it does rain alot-heavy! the highlight of my stay is going to koala sanctuary! I got to hold a koala. It was so cute, we a girl called teresa! She was just the most the gorgeous wee thing ever! I wanted to do a runner and take her with me. But sadly no so have decided that when i retire im going to open a koala sanctuary! We got feed lots kangaroos, you just wander around and they hop around you, very tame actually, although the big red kangaroos are fenced off, just as well you should see the size of them. It was Australia Day on the 26th, lots on and free flags, lots of drunk aussies. hostel is lovely though can be a bit nosiy, got a girl from boston staying with us just now, very friendly which makes a change! Should be moving on a week or so for some fruit picking. I here you laugh but ive heard you make a mint if you pick enough. I'll need to work for months to make any money lol.
