This morning, I made the toughest decision yet on this journey. To Prague or not to Prague. The next train was leaving for Prague at 6:35 in the morning, and I was packed and ready to see the City of a Hundred Spires, but I was leaving Munich feeling like I really didnt get to see it. I slowly walked to the station and didnt hurry to get to the train. By the time I got there, the train had left 3 minutes ago. While I told myself that I had missed the train, I knew that I hadnt committed myself to the idea of leaving, and I immediately set about planning my final day in Munich. I stored my luggage at the station and decided to kill the morning hours by visiting the farthest sight first, Dachau.
The train ride to Dachau wasnt quite as long as I thought it was going to be, and I arrived before 8am. With no local shuttles running this early and the camp not too close to the station, I decided to kill the remaining time with a train ride back to Munich. I arrived just in time for the opening of the Deutsche Museum. I walked the expansive exhibits of this technology museum, and then headed for the royal "suburban" palace of Nyphenburg. I toured the grounds a bit and then decided to head once again for Dachau.
