Challenge 1 - find my hotel without a plan and without spending too much money - complete! I've surprised myself, I jumped on a coach from Venice Treviso airport, 40 minutes from Venice and 30 minutes from my hotel in Mestre. Only €7 compared to €45 for a taxi =] I was in even more luck because I found out my hotel was in walking distance of where the coach dropped me off. So off I went in to a random residential area, I must of stuck out like a sore thumb ...

At the airport ready to fly to Venice =] the second time I've ever been on a plane alone, I'm excited! Can't wait to see Venice again and to eat some italian pasta!
