Hello from Ireland! Kind of... I was actually there about two weekens ago but this still couns right? I got to kiss the blarney stone! The only one left in my family that hasn't done it yet is Anna so when she goes abroad she will need to make that her priority!
Ireland was just as beautiful as I thought it would be! It was so green and very mysy as well but not cold which was nice. When I talk about it its going to sound like I had an awful trip but I really didn't it was a lot of fun!
I went with my roommate Danielle and she almsot climbedall the way to the top of the castle and didn't kiss the stone but i made her. We stayed at the Bru bar and hostel in Cork, Ireland which was pretty decent as far as hostels go. I don't reccomend staying in Cork though its probably better for a day trip because there's not much to do. We had a crazy Canadian roommate who talked incessantly and smelled bad. I couldn't have a conversation with her because she just kept changing the subject! It was very irritating. We did meet some nice girls from New Jersey who were staying in our room. We all decided to go up to the castle together and explore. We found a really great climbing tree that, you can see in my pictures, we all managed to fit into which was really fun.
When I kissed the Blarney Stone I couldn't think about all of the other people's mouths that had been there before otherwise I wouldn't have done it haha. The staircase was so tiny coming up and I climbed the whole thing with a cup of coffee in my hand! I was pretty impressed with my self :) The Blarney Stone is actually part of the Stone of Destiny that the kings of Scotland were crowned on so now I've seen both parts which I think is really cool!
