Cairns was quality and reminded me of freshers week. The hostel I stayed in had some lovely people and the weather was beautiful. Most nights were spent at the Woolshed where I danced on tables and drank copious amounts of cheap 'champagne' which resulted me in taking part in Babe Nation, not being able to climb into my bunkbed and having to roll over the lad below me and sleep in his bed.

One day I took a trip to the Great Barrier Reef and snorkelled seeing some beautiful Reefs. However, I dont think it was as good as the Perhentian Islands! Another day I headed on a tour up to the Tablelands and saw some great Waterfalls with Captain Matty out tour guide. We went to the waterfall where Peter Andre filmed the video for Mysterious Girl, had lunch at a proper Aussie outback pub where the locals were called Tracker and Shirly. Captain Matty was hilarious however later I did find out him and his wife were swingers and had to endure an awkward conversation with him on the phone later that night...

One night I ended up on a boat with a group I had met at the Lagoon. The owner was called Pedro, a lunitic who later tried to pole dance on a wooden stick which I was sure was holding up the boat...

Moving on I was to make my way down to Brisbane although I did not want to leave Cairns :(
