This brown ringed (or some similarly named) snake hurried across in front of our 4x4 as we finally started home and Outback Jack leapt out and grabbed him for a bit of show and tell. Then the biggest storm kicked off and we had to drive like the clappers through the bush to escape the lightening strikes on either side of the vehicle - it was intense!
