My Year In Dominican Republic
I dedicate this blog to my new wheels, which will henceforth be known as 'kermit' :)
I bought Kermit a week ago, from a man a met in the supermarket car park. He used to study, and was so amazed that I came from Australia to teach that he got me a really good deal at local prices. It has no blinkers, or speedometer, but apparently those things aren't important here, as long a the accelerator and breaks work your in business.
So since then we've been everywhere together (me and Kermit, not me and the bike man), got lost a few times, ran out of petrol once, broke down and had to be pushed once..its been fun :)
Making it so much easier to get everywhere when I need to. Loving it!
