A quick trip into the cité this morning to get into Notrè Damè. The lines were so long we had to be satisfied with coffee, croissant and melon at a cafe nearby and some pics outside.
Back to grab our bags and off to the Gare de Nord to wait for our train to Amsterdam.
First class seats and some time to relax was a very nice treat.
Sue and Peter Maxwell met us in Amsterdam along with everyone here for the festival call 'Gay Pride' - a real party atmosphere. Got together with Sue and Peter for dinner at the Sea Palace (my new favourite Chinese Restaurant) then for a walk around town including the red light district. There are so many push bikes here they have their own section of the road including traffic signals,which is great but spoiled by idiots who ride through pedestrian crossing and crowded walkways as if they were on an empty road.
A ferry ride back to our Botel - another very long, interesting and fun day.
