well was woken up at 8am by the grrrr girls on our room dunno how it is possible to make that much noise for 45mins at that time in morning regardless of selfish when ppl are sleepyin, yes they got evils off both of us

After our continental breakfast 'bread n jam wit black tea lol' we headed off into town to find sumway of gettin to aushwitz, we havent been able 2work out how to get tram tickets yet as half the machines r broken but no ones noticed yet opps. booked auhwitz tickets for 2pm only 20pounds for mini bus there n bak & guided tour

we had time to kill so when exploring krakow for a bit & went inside St. Mary's Basilica - one of the most beautful & ornate churchs ive eva seen it was stunning, gold decorations everywhere with huge stain glass windows n high ceilings. Found a lush little pasta place for lunch b4 heading to get bus (pasta & prawns for under fiver yummyy)

Next issue came finding the mini bus as wewannder round n round this hotel looking for it n couldnt find anything other ppl looking as if they were waiting for a tour eventualy found micheal whowas looking equaly lost clutching his ticket bus turned up half an hr later when we had just bout given hope (driver just stopped n middle of room n we nearly got run ova) lol we eventualy made it to the camp - tho we occasionaly thought we wouldnt as our driver liked overtaking on corners wit very little spare room. saw a huge tesco in middle of rural poland which was amusing of all the places to build one. got taking to micheal who was from belfast n traveling on his own he had had his wallet nicked in prague so kept having to go to western union so his parents could wire him money

Spend for 3 horus going round aushwitz we had a local guilde, who'd lost 2uncles in the camp after they had been informed on for helping an escaped prisoner. This prisoner had been forced to grass on 200 ppl who had helped him who then ended up in the camp. we were shown cas chambers were mass murder occured, segregation blocks, the 'hospital' also ppl's belinging hundreds of pairs of glasses, shoes, pots brought by ppl who had been told they would b starting a new life & 7 tonnes of hair collected afta ppl having their heads shaved. W were then taken to Birkenhau which was 3km from aushwitz. we were showed inside one of the building n the sleeping arrangments were horrific, the sheer scale of the camp was hard to take in.

After arrving bak in krakow went for a meal in 'dog in fog' wit micheal - he n sarah tried local dumplings but as they were covered in cheese i wimped out n had pasta, restuerant was cool but had a music list of 5 very old songs which by end of meal was very annyoing e.g. shaggy. We all headed out into krakow for wander in evening & met up wit the ozzie lads from our hostel in berlin - introduction of Kardaka lol lol. Wehn to a small club 'carpe diem' i think which was odd as it had bikes & motobikes (looked like a heavy metal bar) but played cheesy r n b & dance music - which we much prefered lol. jez & sam had to limp off early victims of they own drinking games haha, 5min walk bak to our hostel n bed ahhhhhhh
