Hello from Sihanoukville, Cambodia!

I am writing this to you from the beach resort of Sihanoukville. when I started this trip, I thought we would be staying in terrible accomodation, but you should see this place! We are all staying in beach bungalows which look so idyllic and picturesque, that I promise I will get around to loading pictures up at some point soon!

Yesterday, we spent the day in Phnom Penh and learnt the history of Pol Pot, which was very interesting, but quite somber to spend the day looking around the killing fields. In the afternoon, we went into a local park where some of the group rode an elephant but we were running out of time so I will have to save that experience for another time in our trip!

Today, we spent another long morning travelling but it was worth it to get to such a beautiful beach. Tomorrow we are taking a boat out to one of the islands and plan to spend the day snorkling which I am really looking forward to, even if i am rapidly running out of suncream in this 35degree heat!
