Today was really special because I got to see the best Vienna has to offer: the Phil and the Fan Zone.... After classes were over, we came back to the apartment and donned our bright red Austria jerseys and went over to the Musikverein. The program gave us free tickets to standing room at the Vienna Philharmonic and we really had quite a treat! So day two of Salzburg started early with a yummy breakfast of hams and cheeses. Today we began our trip to Salzburg, Austria, home of "The Sound of Music," Mozart, and some really good beer. The trip out was really beautiful...it was great to watch the landscape turn into the alps from the plains of Vienna. Our route took us directly north of the Alps and we could see them through the clouds on the left, and on the right were rolling hills that reminded me of Pennsylvania.
