Today, we visited our first project in Indonesia. So many mothers and so many children! We got to have some fun singing, "If You're Happy And You Know It," and playing sentence charades! We broke into a bunch of small groups and had to act out sentences. The sentences we had were 1) a bunny hopping, 2) a snake eating a sheep, and 3) a Bible story: our Tour group leader was in my group and she did a phenomenal job acting out the story of God creating Adam & Eve! We had so much fun and enjoyed interacting with the children (you can definitely tell who is still a kid at heart!).

Then we ate an amazing lunch cooked by people at the center. Some members of our group were exceptionally brave and actually tried the cow brains that were available. No, I was not amongst the brave ones! I had to think of my mom, though since we were just talking about the fact that her dad used to eat cow brains...was it with his eggs? I can't remember exactly, but it was enough to make me think of her.

After lunch we went on home visits. We visited the home of a mother of three children. They live in a one room house with her husband and share a bathroom with others on the street. At her request, please be praying for her husband to get a better job, and for their three beautiful girls to grow up and make something of themselves.
