Well after getting my hand luggage searched at Manchester….for nothing, I was terrified though….the fear haha and after all the panic of the flight I arrived…..I feel even more jet lagged than last time……and what didn't help was the 60min wait to get through security (but then I suppose this time I wasn't interrogated…..always a silver lining hey) and then another 60mins waiting for my luggage (weve all been there…that fear that your luggage is not going to be there and you only have the underwear you are wearing eeekkkk)….i arrived at the hotel and OMG was I tired, but ya know Im 30 now so was determined to stay awake and experience nighttime Vegas…..yeh ermm I lasted until 7pm!! Sorry aba me! Oh well good nights sleep ready for day 1….zzzzz
I didn't feel as overwhelmed as last year arriving but still….you forget how unreal Vegas actually is…feel like a borrower!
So day 1 up and out….and I knew what I had in store today!! SHOPPING!!! Oh yes I went to get my 30th Birthday pressie…got my self a lovely watch from Michael Kors and a few other bits, and I felt like Julia Roberts on Pretty Woman…..strutting down the strip with my purchases "BIG MISTAKE HUGE" *cue music* do do do doooooo - OK so maybe I wasn't "strutting" I suppose it was more of a shuffle haha, and Im not exactly Pretty Woman am I now…..and after all that shopping I suppose a few hours by the pool was needed…I mean the Show is tonight, and Im normally in bed my 9pm so I need to prep myself haha!!
OMG "Raiding the Rock Vault" was unreal!!! I turn up an get my tickets only to find out I have bloody FRONT ROW tickets!!! Oh yes baby front row…..The show was amazing…..true talent from everyone and (excuse the pun) it ROCKED!!!!! What didn't rock though was this proper bulb of a woman who was wasted (isnt that what they say here…ooo man she was soooo wasted) and kept coming to the front dancing and trying to touch the performers (now when I say dancing…..she actually looked more like the tin man trying to do a grapevine…but i think u get the point)….for those of you who know me, imagine my face!!! Proper whopper she was and I nearly floored her…..but I wasn't letting her ruin my fun…there was dancing, singing and just pure FUN!!!! Even better after the show I got to meet the band/singers…get a signed CD and a plek off them and wait for it….OMG your guna love this….I got called a "Bad Ass"…..I mean from a rocker…me a bad ass haha, they loved my tattoos and my "this is my zombie killing vest" top I was wearing……sorry aba me…..pass me a guitar now and some leather pants!!!!! what a night.
So I went on a Sunset horseback ride!!! Im not messin but words cant even explain how absolutely amazing this experience was. So when we first got there, we met r horses (mine was called Kimbo)…..now Im guna be honest here….I nearly got off the horse and decided I didn't wanna do it, cos I was bricking it when I first got on the horse and I though "nahhhhh" but OMG am I glad I went through with it….what a night! We rode slowly through the Valley of Fire…up and down hills and through terrain….it was amazing, after a while I calmed down and loved Kimbo…tbh Im thinking about applying for the Grand National but Ill think about it….I mean lets not get too excited hahah!!! We ended the ride with steak and jack pot my the camp fire……Im actually still pinching myself about it…did I really experience this?? I did ask people if they wanted me to sing "Kum by Ahhh" but no1 agreed so we left that…their loss haha!!! Love you Kimbo!!! <3
Well I am sorry aba me, but I can now play Roulette….OK dont be Jel now….Tonight I went to a "Roulette Lesson" in the Casino…and then had a little dabble on the tables myself, now I walked away $6 up….yeh might not sound like much but hey Im a winner…..and I had soo much fun, being on the table and in the atmosphere of the Casino…so glad I went along…I could probably run my own casino now, but I wont jump ahead of myself!! After all that excitement I popped along to Bellagio to watch the dancing fountains….again it was spectacular (what wasn't spectacular was this couple who has proper PDA going on - like seriously no need….I mean VOM get a room….no1 cares) I tell ya though what I cant get my head round is the amount of able bodied people who chose the escalator over the stairs and they are right next to each other…I mean use ya legs will ya….I was doing a rocky up the steps….well I needed to work off that "Cheesecake Factory" cake I had….nom nom nom
Vegas…..once again you didn't disappoint - I have loved every minute of your company and managed to do so much even though I only visited last year
Until we meet again…..San Diego Needs me ;-)

Tia I love this update! The horse ride and campfire experience really does sound awesome-if I ever get to go to Vegas I'll have to find out how to sign up for that! Isn't there a song about the valley of fire and a horse with no name? Keep the updates coming! I love how you go on so many little adventures within your big one-really inspires an interest in the many things America has to offer that might not be obvious! I mean when people say Vegas you think of shows and Casinos (and bodies buried in the desert . . . And Stephen Kings 'The Stand') not moonlight horse riding! Fabulous!
Jen Yehhh deffo recommend! Thanks Tia...glad ur enjoying the blog, Im loving all my little adventures xx
