Arriving in New Zealand this time was not so traumatic and everybody was very friendly, but when they found out we were English took great delight in 'taking the the mick' about the rugby at the weekend.

Stayed in a Formule 1 Hotel; have seen them in Europe but what strange places. Literally looked like a pit stop in reception and the room had everything in - comfortable bed, lovely crisp white sheets, television, dvd, kitchen, washing machine, shower and toilet but all in a 8ft x 12ft space which was cramped to say the least!

As us Tozers do we went looking for food and drink and were delighted to find a Dennys just like USA. Not a great culinary delight but fast food that is palatable, cheap and offers discounts to over 55's. Auckland is yet another city but as it was late not sure if it is worthy of another visit so will just see how time pans out as we only have just over three weeks to see all New Zealand has to offer.
