Okay we're back!
Our last few days in Esteli included going to a rodeo and visiting a quaint little cafe just outside of Esteli. La Casita was a cute little cafe with homemade teas and bread, it had beautiful gardens and organic food. (Thanks Darion!) After supper we went to the big Esteli rodeo. Corey and I didn't stay very long, it was a little too intense, and Corey was still ill from the cold he caught from me. We watched a few bull rides and then left, they didn't treat the horses or the bulls very nice so I couldn't get in to it. The cowboys were pretty good with a lasoo.
We left Esteli on Sunday and arrived in Granada that afternoon. We haven't done much here except a bike ride along the water, a museum, and watching a boxing match in the street, the weather hasn't been the greatest. The guest house we are staying in right now is pretty dirty and we're getting a wierd vibe from the people who live there so we are little anxious to leave. Tomorrow we are taking off to Isla de Ometepe, hopefully the weather will clear up for the boat ride!
Corey and I are planning on spending Christmas there. We thought we would be in Costa Rica by now but I guess we've been having too much fun. Our plan is to quickly pass though Costa Rica, because it's too expensive especially at Christmas time, then hit the San Blas Islands in Panama and then fly to Columbia!
So if we don't blog before hand,
FELIZ NAVIDAD!
