Hello everyone!

We have had a very exciting past few days. We spent the day yesterday at the grand palace and temples. We explored and enjoyed all the fine detailing on the buildings, went in and around the temple, and saw the newest museum showing the queens clothes and how they are made. We have experienced our first tuktuk and have since decided to avoid them after they attempted to cart us around the city to places we didn't plan to go.

Today we went to Damoen Sudak to the floating market. We decided to head out on our own instead of on the tour. We took the city bus two hours outside of Bangkok. It really let us see outside of the main tourist spots and the homes of the people from shack with people bathing in the river to the mansions. We stopped in at tourist info to figure out how to get back to Bangkok and 3 police officers came out with cameras. Ben and I are quite a novelty here and people have been asking for pictures with us. Pretty funny!

We will be off to Chiang Mai tommorow on the night train!
