Hello from Bali! It is so beautiful here. We have been soaking up the culture there is to see in Ubud. We took a tour up in the mountain on bikes and saw a traditional Balinese home, ate some Balinese food before going to the monkey forest. There are 600 macaque monkeys in the forest wandering around. Hello! We have safely arrived on Koh Tao. We came by ferry this morning. It was a pretty awful boat ride. The boat was seemingly a bit sketchy and the 2 hour trip was very wavy. I spent a portion of the time planning an escape route out a window if it tipped. Also, the boat was full of people coming from the Full Moon Party. Hello! Sorry for the delay since the last update. We have made it safe and sound to Koh Samui. We are here until the 6th although we will be going to Koh Phangan on the 5th for the full moon party by ferry. We have had a nice time so far on the islands. Hello everyone! We left Chiang mai. We really liked it. It was a nice change from crazy Bangkok. The last day we went and checked out the tigers. Its very cool. We saw the small and large tigers. They are not drugged but instead kept constantly very full so they are not looking for food and often tourists come in the heat of the day and so they are lazier given that they are nocturnal. Hi! Back from our two day one night mountain trek. It was amazing! We started off at the market where our leader picked up the food we would need. It's neat to see the different markets and see how different they are from the typical grocery store in Canada. Questionnable food storage but given that the fish are still breathing the seafood must be fresh. Then we made way out of the city and into the mountains where we went on an elephant ride.
