Well its september and the trip is less then 6 weeks away!
i have been working hard to get as much information on the trip as i can. I have been scowering the Contiki messsage boards for advice and ideas.
I think that i have gotten the budget worked out and it really seems like I will be able to do all the Optionals on the trip that i want, and have plenty of spending money, and some left over to pay the bills while i'm gone, so yay.
I have a huge shopping list still, but i'm ticking away at it. I'm happy that i got ordering the power plug converter out of the way, and i got a nifty trave pillow and hidden money pocket while i was at it all for under $50 so score.
The whole dealing with the airport security and customes is really freaking me out, but i think it'll be ok. I feel like Sharon is probably annoyed with me by now, but she is the only one i can think of to ask all these questions. She has been so amazing through this whole process, I don't think i would have been able to make this happen without her help.
I still need to keep up the fund raising, but so far so good. Just got to get the shopping out of the way and keep the nerves under control and i just might make it to the trip ha ha.
