We got the ferry across from Wellington to Picton spent the three hours trying to avoid a crazy German guy who we have been stuck on the coach with since Auckland!:S Managed to do this quite successfully! :D Then arrived in Nelson where we stayed in the best hostel up to that point as it had a swimming pool, sauna and spa! Today we went to Wellington and drove past Mount Doom (lord of the rings) Although it was very cloudy and could'nt really see it! Wellington is a lovely city and the most most lively place we had been to (which isn't saying much!). We went to the Te-Papa museum which was erm unusual!? Some women dragged us into to watch a crazy/weird/boring show and then locked the doors so we had to sit through the hole thing, we were slightly disturbed when we eventually go...

Today we went to Lady Knox geyser which errupts at 10.00 everyday and reaches 10-20 meters! Then we went to a thermal wonderland in wai-o-tapu, this was very beautiful, never seen anything like it! Although Rotorua is very smelly due to the sulphur, couldn't spend any longer there! Today was a busy day as we also did a sky dive over Lake Taupo at 15000ft! Something i've always wanted to do but didn't think i'd have the guts! I'm so glad I did as was the scariest...

Yesterday we walked down to the harbour and jumped on the city bus tour which was quite nice, saw lots of beutiful views! Got off at Mission beach and had lunch there! I think this was where the sun burn happened! Didn't we were going to out long and got completely fried! Well covered up today as still very hot! We also went to Auckland Zoo which was pretty cool! Just booked a bus tour all round the north and south island as couldn't hire a campervan!

Hey! Just arrived In Auckland after a very long and tiring flight, with a two hour stop off in LA which was nice to get out and stretch the old legs! It's lovely and sunny so will soon go out to explore as we can't get inot our room for a few hours! Hopefully will manage to stay awake till this evening to try and avoid the jet lag!
