wow, the fact that you are already in Rio is great news. we know you had been planning this for a long time but until you fly off , we were never sure if you would go.

Enjoy your journey but be careful. only come back with wonderful memories not horrid ones. so avoid all the unsafe places.

i hope that this 6 to 9 months trip is the start of a lifetime's journey . yes i am a hopless romantic. in fact , nothing lbeats a proposal on a tropical mountain top or a tropical beach . ha ha.

we are in Singapore from Aug 7th until Aug 12. then we are in Sabah from August 13 to Aug 24. if our paths are to cross on those dates please let us know and we will buy the two of you a proper meal or several. i had offered to bring you some marmite or British biscuits etc for the two of you.
