Good evening! After leaving Buffalo bay and after a 5 hour journey in the worlds s***tist car(Connys car)we finally arrive in my final destination on my South African leg! As soon as we step out of the car and took a look around our surroundings it had the feelingthat we had just step into a whole different part of the world because on the surface, Cape town has no rural african vibe! After the mission of trying to park the car somewhere on a Saturady night we took our bags and walked down "long Street" to find our accomindation!As soon as you enter Long Street,which by the way is like Cape towns main high steet you feel suffercated with exictment as you stand there amazed of everything that surrounds you!Hundreds of bars,resturants,clubs and lots of other thing to keep you from bordom!Our backpackers was siturated in the heart of long street and the bustleness of the street echoed through to each room! Tonight(being our first night)has been a fairly good night to start on,its Saturady and the streets are packed with hundreds of different cultures,colours and languages!I had a spare 20 minutes as Connys wife is getting ready,so i thought i would come and make you guys jealous!(Joke) We are going for pizza tonight and then off to check out the night life on Long street!
