First day in Kuang Prabang went out and grabbed an omelet for breakfast, Then said we'd scope out the city for a bit then drop Pablo a message see if they wanted to meet up as they arrived a bit later after we do last night. As we walked along the river we just so happened to see them sitting down for there lunch... Went over had a chat then we said we'd pop back after they'd finished there breakfast walked along the road to find an ATM looked at some shops and to check out elephant riding and going to the waterfalls around the area, Got a good price from a place if we got five people he'd do us a deal of 200,000kip each which at the time was around £15.
So then popped back to see Pablo miko and olly said we be going back down the river to check out a temple that was ment to be down there, They were heading there also just went in a big group of us was a long river looked for a place to stop for lunch ended going to this place called Utopia which was mentioned in lonely planet went there and chilled out for Two hours or so. After chatting with each other we chatted to an American who's also teaching English in Laos, And turns out it was Olly's birthday miko and olly had forgotten no one keeps track of days here i know we don't.
They wanted to go check out the temple and catch the sun set from the peak of the temple, After a lot of stairs and talking to the monks there we rushed up to the top of the temple and just court the sun set. Walked back down the other side of the temple and got to this night market just walked straight through that and got water. We said we all wanted to grab a shower and food so went back showered and went back to get a curry from down the road had a bit of a splurge with this meal both of us were really hungry spent 50,000 kip each on a full curry which is still only £3-4 so can't complain. After that I crashed out back in the room for the rest of the night ready for our Elephant riding tomorrow.
