hello its Joanne , life has been pretty normal at work , i am still loving it and feel i could stay for a few more months , but i have to come home sometime . At work we got to take some of our kids to the cinema to see a cute elephant film in thai , which they loved . I mannaged to perswade Martime my teacher to let me take Ama ha a young completly normal girl pretty much who i just play with and hug if she is around shes just like my little sister , bless she fell asleep on me in the cinema. I am so glad she has gone to school now so i probably wont ever see her . Juilet my blind large headed girl recognises my voice and i have become more cofident in supporting her head so she can sit leaning on me . Its so funny as she really responses to me singing the futerheads to her and tickling her . To give you an idea of the CP ward there are prob about 30 girls all just lying in completly twisted postions we go in there on Mondays with the boys for music therapy and wednesday . I find it hard to spend time with all the girls so i play with Juilet for 1hour and half in the down stairs ward , its great to see her very slight progress and build a relationship. I the up stairs ward the is a small girl called Chat sue darn ( mallae ) who i made laugh for the first time. I asked to take her outside which she didnt react to and my many attepts . Untill i prayed and then i started running around and throwing her in the air and she laughed . I am so excited as i have sorted out to take her to the zoo on saturday a group of us are going with differnt kids . I just pray it all goes well . Last saturday Sarah , Holly and I took Nong Pen and Nong Noi to girls we arnt allowed to work with during work time swimming . It wqs the greatest day ever cause they loved it all ( taxi , water , slides and lunch thats not mushed up rice ) and they became like two normal kids . At Bible study last night i realside that the girls give me so much more than i can give them .just taking a girl outside and playing on swings so she dosent have to be tied up to the ward wall , and making her laugh its brilliant. Could you please pray for everyones safety out here as there have been a few trips to hospital .LAst night Stefan got bitten by a dog which is so scary as they are everywere. Its sad as the three boys have left and i only have 2 weeks but god is doing some amazing things out here. Love Joanne xxxxxx
