Well we are sitting in the Fairbanks airport waiting for our flight to Seattle. I have not been able to keep up with the blog too well since we haven't had wifi for a couple of days.
On Monday night Bruce and I toured the Huskey Homestead...home of Jeff King 4 time winner of the Iditarod...got to hold the puppies and heard about his adventures on the trail. It was a lot of fun....
Yesterday we left Denali and took the bus trip to Fairbanks...it was pretty rainy so we didn't get to see much....they tell us that Fairbanks is the "desert" of Alaska...we not sure we believe that!
In the afternoon we took a riverboat ride on the Chena river....toured replicate of a native Alaskan village..and Curt and Bruce worked on their new hit song..."take me out to the gift shop..." soon to debut on the next Princess cruise.
Had a good meal at the Chena River then early to bed ...long travel day ahead.
