The Mekong Delta Although our plan is to finish the trip in Hanoi, we have decided to spend a bit more time in Vietnam and start by heading south to the Mekong Delta. This is the area that is very famous for producing rice and exotic fruits. Still not having a map, we relied on local knowledge to get to My Tho.
