It's my fourth day in London, I arrived here on Saturday from Bangkok. Bangkok was amazing, the weather was fantastic and everything was CHEAP!! Did lots of shopping, got really good at bartering :-) Stayed at the Bangkok Centre Hotel, very nice, throughly recommended. Oh, and the people looking after me in Bangkok (Breakaway Travel) were fantastic, very helpful. And the food in Thailand is EXCELLENT.

London, however, is very cold and very expensive! I'm staying at the Globetrotter Inn, which is quite nice, the bathrooms aren't QUITE clean enough for my liking, but given my ridiculous hygiene standards, that is to be expected. The dorms are great though, very comfortable beds and big lockers, all good.

Heading off to Paris on Thursday to find a job and a flat, very nervous, but I went to a French meet-up last night at the Loom Bar in central London and spoke French with some other French-speakers, wasn't too traumatic, so hopefully I will cope.
