We got a flight from Loas to Chiang Mai it did warn in the lonely planet guide not to fly in Loas cause it is dangerous we did not tell Nik (she has jst found out now we are in oz.) So we were trying to calm Nic of her flying fear while at the same time pooing ourselves. We took a day tour with our guide Ping Pong. Went to an elephant conservation centre. Saw how elephant dung can be recycled into paper. Saw an elephant show where the elephants gave the audience massages i was not crazy enough to volunteer. Went on an elephant ride through the jungle me & Sandra ova feed our elephant on sugar cane so he went really fast which was fun. Went on a bamboo raft ride the best thing about the day was the old guy playing the guitar where we got the rafts i so wish id got a picci he was so cute! We had an ox cart ride through a village. Went to buddist temple & caves where i hit my head on a stalagtight which really hurt! Got chinese fortune told - you shake a pot of sticks with numbers on & for the number that pops out you take the fortune reading for i got no 5 but the fortune wasent that good so i choose not to beleave it! Went to an orchid & butterfly park. Went to Chiang Mai nite bonanza i thought it was jst a general massive nite market & only after hours of being there did me & Whitney find the actual nite bonanza nxt to the market it was awsome it was really bright white with loads of little shops & stalls & a food centre which lovely coconuts & a traditional show on we stayed till midnite when it shut i really want to go again sometime it was amazing!

Took the nite train to Bangkok for old memories sake. We crammed on the publc bus to the airport 1/2 asleep, backpacks & all the ticket lady was asking me & Nic something in thai we could not understand so she jst kept repeating it louder & slower then the man behind started repeating the same thing in thai even louder & slower to us. I now know how annoying this is & will never to it again!

top 3 things i will miss about asia:

coconut juice

people being so innocent & friendly

everything being so so cheep

top 3 things i will not miss:

squot toilets, having to carry toilet tissue sanitiser everywhere.

hitting my head every single day you name it i hit my head on it boats, buses, tuk tuks, cars, ric shaws, caves, lights, doorways, walls jst to name a few!

i dont think theres anything else i wont miss i loved it & will go back FACT! Loas & cambodia & thailand were my favs.
