Skanör, Sweden
One month has just about gone past here in my new home of skanör Sweden so I thought it was about time to inform you's on some of my happenings.. Not fully sure how this goes so give it time :)
I'm living in a family of four in the house with My host Mum Anna Mollberg, Lennart Mogren and Host Sister Stina with the bischion dog Bamse a living teddy bear ..The Family also has 2 sons that live in our nearest City Malmö which is maybe 45mins away on the bus
.. I'm studying in 'Year 2' at a huge school Borgaskola with 1500 people (Biggest school in Malmö) an internation relations class so all classes are international based, history etc.. I'm also starting an extra swedish beginner class outside of school time in the next few weeks to boost my swedish language so i can speak and understand all the conversations around me..
Everythings been going really well so far made easily from such a welcoming host family helping me and meeting some sweeetas friends along my way.. Life here is completley different home escpecially being in a massive city everyday catching busses and getting ran over by bycycles everywhere. Finding it really interesting with all their different festive traditions and getting involved eating cinnamon buns and the best caffiene hits in the world - Expresso House is now my 3rd home!
At the Start of october I head away on a trip by train up to Gothenburg (3 Hours away) where I will meet around 40 other exchange students currently in Sweden. We're there for two nights visiting amusment parks, looking around the city and getting to know eachother so it will be awesome meeting all sorts of people and hearing about their exchanges aswell!
Still thinking about the family, friendds and especially marley and max everyday don't worry about that :)
Anyways time to go, will update and hopefully improve this page sometime soon..Jayde x
