We got to Mesenich with all the poeple and luggage and we were greeted by Frank's wife Barbel and her daughter Natascha. We sat down for a bit to have a drink...yup beer! Then Jard and I had to get ready to go so we could go to the Angus & Julia Stone concert. Our cousin Dennis picked us up and we drove to Luxembourg City (which was about 20 mins away) and we met up with a friend of Dennis', Frank. We stopped for a beer at The Black Stuff, an Irish pub......

We've made it to the airport and we are just awaiting our call to board! The excitement grows every minute!! Only downer is the 10 hour flight that is ahead! Lol

I have decided I can't sleep on planes. The flight has been fairly quiet and that had been nice. No kids shaking my seat this time! It is about 11:40 pm in Edmonton and about 7:40 am in Germany. I can't wait to get off the plane!  Well back to the movies for me..this will be the third of the flights so far.

Oh my goodness! I'm so excited! I slept in this morning and Dad woke me by coming into my room and saying, "Why are you sleeping?! We're going to Germany today!" haha We're finishing up some last minute re-packing (to fit in all the gifts from Canada) and then our cousin Jackie is picking us up to head off to the airport! It's only hours away now...8.5 to be exact! As you can see by the pic for today..we're already having a blast together on the family vacatio...

Today we're in Calgary. Jard and Dad went in service while mom and I slept in! Once the men folk got home we played the ever popular rock band...which is almost a rite of passage in this house! Mom and I then went shopping again..trying to get all the last minute little things we need for the trip. Tonight we relaxed and hung out together and had dinner at the boys house. The countdown is on..48 hours and we'll be in the air headed to Germany!!
