I love the every-day experiences in Germany! Doris, my mom and I went into Trier this morning to get groceries for tonight's dinner. Today was a total relax day...well it was planned that way at least! We slept in while Peter and Dad did yard work. We all hung out in the gorgeous sunshine (it reached 28 again today) and then had an early supper (3pm!) and then we went into Trier to see the graves of my Onkel Peter and my cousin Walter. So this week we are staying with my cousin Peter, his wife Doris and their daughters Anna and Lena. The girls both had to work today so we went into Trier for some presents and to look at some sights like Kaiserthermen, the old Roman baths. This evening we are making homemade pizzas and will probably go outside to relax, visit and drink more beer!

Today (Sunday) we went to the meeting in Trier. Haha I thought it was tough to be called on for comments in Canada! I tried tho!  After the meeting we went to Willy & Gebrun's (a couple that live in Trier) garden for a BBQ. It was so amazing! Yummy food and plenty of beer! The temp reached 27 degrees today! I think there is only so many ways to say "I love Germany!" "Ich liebe Deutschland!"

Well, despite all my best efforts, I have caught a cold. I blame it on the ever recycled airplane air! I have been forced to take a day to relax and "get better". I had the chills last night and had to sleep with extra blankets and a hot water bottle. I slept as long as possible today, only waking to groggily ask my dad why he was taking my money, when it was actually his! haha. I slept until 4 pm..which is 8 am Canada time..so I figure I'm right on tr...
