So today was crazy and a prime example of stuff that randomly happens to you when you?e backpacking. I'm in the station at Prague waiting to use the ATM machine when the guy who was using it asked for help. He turned out to be a 20-year old guy from The Netherlands and really funny and kinda nice lol. He came with me to the hostel I had set up already and he made a reservation there. We went into town and went to the Torture Museum. Freaky stuff let me tell you. Then we went into some bar for him to have a beer and waited out a small rainfall. Then he told me that he wanted to get the cartilage of his ear pierced just randomly then and there. So we go on a hunt of this tatoo/piercing shop that someone showed us. And we got there and he was all freaked out about getting it done but he was glad he did it...I watched and laughed lol...we have kind of a love hate relationship I guess you could say (mostly the latter).

After that we went to the Old Towns Square, which was kind of a letdown for being like the main sight in Prague. Then he got another beer and we sat in the sun (bad idea) and each planned the next leg of our trip. He's going to Stockholm, Sweden next and I think I'm headed to Krakow. We saw the Prague castle next...well actually walked through the King's Garden a little and then towards the castle, but then we saw the hill leading up to it and we changed our minds lol. We went to find a park and it ended up being all the way up this street and then up like 6 flights of stairs but we found it and took a nap in the grass. It was nice and laidback and had an incredible view. When we woke up we were hungry and went to find somewhere to eat. We were bickering the whole time cause he found out how picky I am lol. But we finally found this place that was like $4 for a sandwich and we ate there, it was good. And I had a sip of his beer and I liked it (I know, uh oh) lol. It was a little sweeter than normal beer.

After dinner we came back to the hostel and I FINALLY took a shower. I hadn't taken one in SO long. Well I'm gonna go hang out with the people here but I think my next destination is Auschwitz from Krakow for a day and then Vienna. Talk you ya later!
