Decide to have another day in Exmouth and finally left this morning. Had the day yesterday relaxing with another swim for Tully. We also visited the Mildura ship wreck, visible in the water from land. The ship ran aground in 1907 after getting caught in a cyclone. Arrived in Exmouth yesterday after struggling with accommodation in Coral Bay. Different story here and we had no problems. The weather is beautiful, a warm 28 degrees during the day and only down to 20 overnight. So we made the most of it and had a swim in the pool. We bought Tully a swimming vest in Perth and he is thriving in the water. Super confident now jumping in and swimming on his own knowing his vest will keep him afloat! From Carnarvon to Coral Bay. Arrived just before lunch. Having not experienced many other people on the road we didn't book ahead and so only able to book one night. Filled in the afternoon with a swim in the beautiful Ningaloo Reef. The amazing blue, clear water was too nice to pass up but still pretty chilly. From Hamelin Station to Carnarvon today. A brief roadside stop for a cuppa and into Carnarvon by lunch. During. The afternoon we visited the Space and Technology Museum. A previous tracking station during the NASA expedition to the moon. We all found this pretty interesting until Tully freaked out thinking we were actually going into outer space. We also visited the one mile jetty but generally found the town to be suffering after a couple of recent cyclones.

Arrived at Hamelin Station yesterday a farm stay about 100kms from Denham. Drove into Denham and Monkey Mia today for the dolphin experience which was amazing. We arrived at Monkey Mia just after 8:30 and not long after we could see the Dolphins swimming ashore. There were about 6 that came to the feeding and we all stood in knee deep water with them only meters away. After they left we stood on the jetty and could see a turtle swimming in the shallow water.
