Spent last night in Ithaca, home of Cornell University which is famous for Vet Sci and Agriculture. Lovely drive from Lancaster with beautiful weather and the tree lined Interstate. Peter's really enjoyed the driving , good job as I'm not that keen on left hand drive. Price o petrol is half UK so filling up or £20 a time.
Some of the trees are really turning now and the last part of the journey to here and the finger lakes was quiet, rolling country. The town is fine but late 60's / 70's in design and in need of a makeover. There are even planned designs for 2020 in the main mall so it's not just my opinion.
All geared up for crossing into Canada - should be a spectatcular drive. Will take our time and then spend tomorrow in Toronto and we have a trip to Niagra on Friday. Can't believe we've had 19 nights in America. Wondering how different Canada will be. Certainly we have found the people are different as we've moved North.
Take care x
