Hi Darling,
good to hear from you finally - I was a bit worried to say the least. I do understand that you had no means of contacting us, so tried not to panic. Glad you are having a great time, Fiji sounds like paradise. Make the most of it as it is s**t here, pouring today-typical English early summer.
All well here, Ed has just been glued to the Champions' League final, alsmost felt sorry for Arsenal, but not quite! Especially as they have probably now lost Henri - oh well, that's football.
Just been round to Eric and Paul's for a glass of champagne and believe it or not they were not watching the football!
Can't wait to see you on the 26th.
Would be good if you could send some more photos.
Had an e mail from Joanna who was asking after you, they are coming to England next month, so hopefully we will see them and repay some of their hospitality.
Lots of love

Hi Jamie, you've been off the air for a while now - I hope you haven't forgotten everyone back home, wringing their hankies with worry, wondering if you have remembered to wear a vest and not speak to anyone looking dodgy? Surely not.
The airwaves are buzzing over here because the Swedish mekon has gone and selected some child prodigy from Arsenal who's never actually played in a football match before. Apparently he's a great talent and ready to set the World Cup on its head, but the nation is furious. They forget that Pele was only 17..
Anyway, hope you're enjoying yourself, and looking forward to reading your next update,
Best,
Neil

Hi Jamie,
Hope you're having fun in Fiji (and you have enough money in your pocket to enjoy yourself...). Whilst you've been climbing up glaciers in NZ, Rosie and Joe have been doing roughly the same thing in Bolivia - with ice picks and crampons and the works. Joe summited a mountain higher than Mont Blanc (so far we've been unable to discover its name), but Rosie had a cold so didn't make it quite to the top which she's very disappointed about.
Any chance of any more photos of your adventures? Lots of love, your fatty godmother

Hi seetie,
Hope the money arrived ok. Please try to make it stretch this time as I cannot keep subbing you!
It's a lovely hot sunny day here, summer is finally on its way.
Jeannie and I managed to finish our charity 5km walk - only just in my case but we raised a bit of money and got our medals!
We were all a bit panicked when we heard about the earthquake in Tonga and the Tsunami warnings for Fiji, but I think the danger is over - that is one of the things I forgot to worry about!
Hope you are still enjoying yourself and have a fantastic time in Fiji- have you arranged to meet Abbie and Charlotte yet ?
We haven't had any postings from you for ages but thanks for texts etc.
Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxx
David

hello mate haven't heard from you in a while but I guess that's because you can't get to a computer on a glacier. I went to Manchester on Saturday for the cup semi final. It took 6 hours to get there because the whole motorway was a sea of blue. I expect you know the result so I wont go into too much detail. When are you off to Fiji and meeting Abbie? Hope you've still got some money left. Ed.
Neil
Hi Jamie
Long time since I logged on to your site, but it looks as though you're really seeing the world. It must be rather damp and cold in the south island by now. Did you go to Milford Sound? I'm sure you did. I remember sailing in there and being completely awestruck - what with the waterfalls and the wheeling gulls and wotnot.
We had a bit of a party in our new flat in Nice on Saturday - managed to almost wreck the place, so I suppose that makes it a success. Just about recovered now, but not looking too flash this morning.
Can't wait to see you back in blighty and hear all about it. I hope you have bought some regrettable headgear with which to amuse your parents at the airport?
All the best for now,
Neil

Hi Jamie,
The glacier is supposed to be amazing - bet you wish you had taken a jumper now!
Staying at a spa sounds nice if a little expensive, lucky you.
Ed is off to Manchester today for the semi final - I imagine you are quite envious although I know where I would rather be. we will text you the result.
Tmorrow we have a couple moving in to the spare room for what may be a couple of weeks, may be a couple of months - Lucy who works for Louise and her boyfriend Jermaine, from Kentucky-they are really sweet and will pay me some much needed cash. Hope it will work out and they will be able to cope with the chaos and clutter (filth) that is our lovely home! So I have to spend the next day or two trying to clear out some junk from the spare room! I will be back and forth to the dump a few times I think - my life is just as exciting as yours, don't worry.
New job seems to be going well, I feel more confident now and am not so scared of making mistakes, although I am still making them. really get on with Eric who is very relaxed and wonderfully gay, we spend a lot of time discussing the minute details of his outfit for his forthcoming "wedding"! Love it! Of course I am bringing home a lot of very naughty cakes too, which will have to stop soon! Even your brother will strat to get fat.
Must go, lots of love.xxxxxxxxxxx
