Hiya all, everything here has gone off without any major problems so far, except the fact that a couple heavy rainstorms have gone and past, which has knocked the hot water out in the hostel I've been staying in. So lots of ice cold showers. This is my last day in Sydney for a while, was going to rent a camper with a couple people from my dorm and head up the coast to byron nay and then whitsundays but the rental just got too pricey. Instead I'm heading out to Katoomba in the morning out in the blue mountains, bit more my scene and hopefully a bit cheeper than the lifestyle in Sydney. Gonna start looking for some work once i get my tax and bank sorted, might even go 'woofing' (working on organic farms) for a few weeks which should cover all my board and food and il get to see a bit of Oz outside the main cities. Spent my first day here doing a walk along some of Sydney southern beaches from coogee to bondi beech, all increadibly beautiful and totally sureal. Having a few problems uploading photos but I'l try and get that sorted in the next couple of days. Went up to the botanical gardens a couple of days ago for a picnic with some vino with a stunning view accross the harbour to the opera house and famous coathanger bridge. Was mildly spoilt by the fact we didnt realise there was a big music festival going on in the gardens at the time so we had a mixture of grunge and borok music to eat by. Slightly odd! Well il write another blog in a couple days telling ya all about the blue mountains no doubt drop me a message and il get back too ya asap.
