Hey, how u looks like your having a great time, very jealous the furthest my travels took me was France! Can you believev it has taken me this long to discover this website, couldn't make it work before.

Unless you're completely cut off from civilisation you'll surely know that later today the mighty Liverpool will march into the Olympic Stadium in Athens to claim their sixth European Cup.  Unless AC Milan beat us, which is the outcome most bookies and pundits are predicting.  But what the f*** do they know, eh?  They were spouting the same s*** two years ago, and look what happened then.  Anyway...it was my memories of that glorious night that inspired me to finally visit and post a message on this site.

And what a site it is, Jim!  Well...to be honest, I only got as far as that photo of you with a big spider on your face, which freaked me out more than anything in the film Hostel.  What the f*** were you thinking, Jim?!  Spiders are inherently evil and come from the same rotten gene pool that produced Hitler and Stalin.  Some scientists may question this statement, but f*** them and their theories.  I for one would rather face a chainsaw-wielding German pervert than a Tarantula, and no amount of 'scientific evidence' is going to change that......And so much for me and my phobia, which may prevent me from ever travelling in the southern hemisphere.

Life over here is about as sweet as it's been for some time.  I'm still employed, seem to have more money in my wallet than my crappy wage ought to provide, and will be looking for my own place as soon as my permanent status is finally confirmed.  I also get a lot of three and four day weekends, so there should be plenty of opportunities for us to meet up when you get back.  You'll have to let me know when that is.

I'm off to see Wayne in Leicester in a couple of weeks time, but haven't been out with Paul since January.  We're still in touch, but he seems to be spending most of his time in pursuit of domestic bliss.  In fact, when Wayne and I went for a few drinks in The Social about a month ago, Paul replied to my invite thus:

'It's out of the question, mate.  The new kitchen's being delivered and I'm putting it together.'

If you're reading this, Paul, you are a MASSIVE GAYLORD.

Hi James, Just to say hope you had a great birthday, tried to get a message to you last week but computer threw a wobbly.  Kathryn has just been telling me about everything you've been up to and what she has sorted out for your birthday, I'm sure you're really looking forward to that!!!!!!!!  Kathryn is training hard for her run at the moment and we're really proud of her as she has never been much of an athlete as you probably know, with a bit of luck will get to Manchester to support her on the day, fingers crossed.  Hope you carry on enjoying your adventure and try not to do anything too outrageous. Hi mate!!!! Wow, im so so sorry that it has been this long but trust me its been for a good cause. Ive been renovating that house day and nioght pretty much since i last spoke to you. I havent even seen neil or wayne for about three years and i dont really remeber what sleep is like anymore. How you been??? where have you been mate you human torch looking mo fo. Missed you mate we must get together when you get back so you can tell us all about it. Ive spoke to your lovely lady and thank you for the card it was wicked mate, our fist  one!!!!! Not cool not funny just plain sad!            Really enjoyed reading your postcards, brought back lots of memories of Alison and I doing a

     very similar trip .  You sound as if you are having a great time, make the most of it your exploring time

     will fly by and you will be back home in hum drum Cheshire before you know it!!

     Annalisa was really excited last wednesday she said she was too busy looking at the snow to talk to me!!

     At nursery they built a snowman which I think must have reminded her of the film "The Snowman" because

     she started to sing "walking in the air", she probably thought he would come to life and take her flying off

    into the air!  She had her 2nd birthday party last week and had a wonderful time I can't believe she is

     two already.   Your mum is coming to see her in a fortnight at our house she will see a big difference in her
