Haynes, Pip and a few cocktails
After a lot of phone calls and misunderstandings of whereabouts in Brisbane we were I finally saw a very familiar face driving into toowong village car park. Haynes had made it to brissie and was being chauffeured by Pip a soon to be friend. They both mocked Monica at first sight and it was made even worse as James attempted to manoeuvre out of a tight spot. I doubt pip even remembers cars without power steering!
We arrived at the Harvey-Ross residence and couldn't believe our luck. It is a beautiful house in a lovely location and Monica fitted right in-cough cough! Pips family were so friendly and welcoming we felt as though we were meeting up with old friends. Pip had too work in the evening so Danni, James and I went out for a meal (Danni sponsored us for the evening-amazing). It was so good to catch up and despite not seeing each other for a year we were chatting as if we only saw each other yesterday. We had a few (too many) cocktails and tried delicious chocolates and stayed up very late chatting, by this time it was mainly rubbish. By way of introduction to pip (Danni's seen it all before) I pulled my trousers down to reveal my hilarious pants exclaiming 'what do my pants say?' When the response was not what I had anticipated I realised that I had the wrong pants on. Sheepishly I pulled my trousers back up as we all laughed a lot.
