Southern California really does have it all...
San Diego - the Maney's beautiful home reminded me of one of the many reasons we love and miss California...outdoor living! Their backyard was so inviting and pretty. Great job guys! We love you and your first home!
Sea World - so fun! The boys and I loved it! They do a good job emphasizing conservation while still putting on an amazing show! We didn't have time to do everything, so we will definitely be back!
Legoland - wow 2 amusement parks in 2 days...mama hit her limit! If we hadn't had passes, we probably wouldn't have gone this time. At the end of the day (or maybe the day after), we were glad we went. The new water park was fun, we hit all the favorite rides and wrapped it up with a trip to the big shop so we can "build" more memories when we get home.
The O.C. - Old friends, old home tour, old stomping grounds. Orange County is so full of memories for me I hardly know where to look. I've lived in every coastal town from Dana Point to Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa too! The people watching is in a class all it's own...from the O.C. Fair to Maestros Ocean Club in Newport Coast...you get the full spectrum! The Young's were amazing hosts as usual and spending the day with the Albano was the icing on he cake!
Manhattan Beach - ahh, with my sistas and their special guys! I love spending time with them, the laughs are the best! They are so lucky to live 2 doors down from each other! Bi-weekly cocktails and appetizers at each other houses, Sunday dinners prepared in fine detail by Steve, a view, lots of hard work, love and support are what these folks are made of. Note to self; must see them more often!
So. Cal. you will always hold a special place in my heart <3
