Jahn was awake at 5:00 and I slept until 5:20. We met Sherry and Bill for breakfast at 7:00. We left at 8:15 for our ten minute walk up to the Prague Castle to be ready for the 9:00 opening. It gets very crowded so Rick Steve's told us to be there early. We waited from 8:30 until 9:00 for the ticket window to open. After getting the tickets we went first to the St. Virus Cathedral which to me was the highlight of the whole castle.
It got very crowded very quickly with what seemed like hundred of your groups from all over. We stopped for a late morning cappacino, well I had apple cider. Toured the rest of the castle and then the castle garden, which was more like a part. Lots of unique trees, not many flowers.
We had lunch just outside the castle. I had chicken schnitzel, Jahn had Greek salad, and Sherry and Bill both had Caprese baguettes.
After lunch we walked down towards the Charles bridge to a secluded garden. Only a few tour groups there. Very nice.
After, we headed back to the room but stopped to pick up bread and fruit and wine for dinner. Rested until 5:30 when we went to Bill and Sherry's room for dinner.
Later we went out to try the local specialty, chimney cakes, for dessert. Sherry got ice cream in hers, Bill had chocolate sauce in his, and Jahn and I had one that was covered in cinnamon.

Sherry Jordon Glad you loved the Cathedral, Gary. I'll see if I can find some more.
