Hey every1! So im back on the road again all better and recharged, after 3 flights made it to Bali to start traveling again, plan is to spend a month in indonesia then off to australia on the 1st of november, first stop was kuta south bali, it is basically an australian tennerife, night life is good but not much todo there apart from beach, although was loads of spa's and very cheap aswell! stayed there for 3 days then traveled to a town called ubud its only about an hour drive from kuta but so different, had a very gd vibe, lots of health shops and organic cafe's and again so many spa's and massage places, had the best massage/facial of my life here, spent 3 hours getting pampered! Was great! In ubud we got a home stay so was a little cabin in a local families garden, they were lovely people and made us very welcome, they had so many animals chickens, ducks cats just walkin around the garden making so much noise ! During our time here we went on a day trip to see more of the island, went to a few really nice temples right in the forest was like a herbal essence advert, waterfalls and amazing views from the temple, also went to holy springs temple were there was loads of springs and people were in them fully clothed washing themselves with this holy water, after the temples we went to a coffe plantation and got to see how they made balinese coffee, they actually feed this animal coffee beans and then wait untill it passes them, cleans them and produces coffee we got to try all the different kinds of coffee including that one, it was very strong, safe to say we were all rabbiting like budgies on the way home lol, we drove upto the north of the island were we went to the view point of mount batu was stunning, 2 volcano's with a huge lake in the middle, got a few really good photos!
so after a few days in ubud we left bali to go to a small island an hour boat ride called nusa lembongan, the island was lovely unspoilt not very touristy, so we hired motorbikes and went around the island and was able to go to an even smaller neighbouring island and check that out, beaches were amazing here. So we chilled out in lembongan for a few days and then made out way to lombok, after 2 very chopping boat rides and a bus/taxi we got here! so next on the list is to climb up mount rigiani its the second biggest volcano in indonesia, it will take us 3 days and we will camp as we hike up! will let u know if i survive!! xxx
