I've decided to use this way of telling you all what i've been up to, as facebook takes forever to make sure you sent it to all the important people! ha!
Well, where do i begin, I'm in Fiji now... in a place called Nadi... just doing all my washing and sorting our lives out for New Zealand! Very boring, especially when the sun is out! It's boiling!
Well, this is the end of our third week and i'll give you a little run through about what we've been up to.
We decided to adventure around the islands of Fiji for 2 weeks.
1st stop: Bay of Plenty Resort... Furthest north islands in the Yasawas. We was here for 4 nights and did loads of activities! We went to a cave in the middle of the ocean, on a secluded island, we dived into a pitch black cave and then swam under the water into a tunnel! Quite scary! Will upload the photos soon! Also at this island we learnt how to open a coconut, make jewellry from the shells and how they make desserts from them! We also went to a place called the blue lagoon where they filmed the film... great snorkelling there! We also went spearfishing and handline fishing... i caught two! very proud! We went to a locals house and drunk a drink called Cava, literally muddy water, but is a narcotic, just made us feel like s***! Was good to see the village and school! The kids sung to us, got it all on camera! Upload those photos soon!
2nd Island we went to was called Korovou Resort. Had its own swimming pool, sun loungers, perfect beach! Was great, but didnt do a lot, but relax!
3rd Island was a place called WaiLeiLei resort... we had our own mud hut, with double bed and everything was tiny! the sinks, the doors, even the chairs! was there for 2 nights! Watched traditional island dances and joined in a few!
4th Island was Bounty Island. This is where they filmed Celebrity Love Island... was a beautiful island, Marcus and Nick ran around the whole island in less than 15 minutes, thats how small it is. Also, we all snorkelled around the island... saw loads of fish! We walked to where they filmed the show, but the place had been wrecked, didnt look nice at all! Apart from that, lovely pool, lovely food and just sat on our backsides!
5th and final island we went to was a place called Walu Resort. Complete and utter luxury. Wooden sunloungers with cushions, free kayaks to other islands, beautiful food, lovely cocktails! We stayed in a beutiful wooden lodge, own double beds and the food was lush! Probably the best place out of the 5, sort of got more luxury as we went down!
Anyways, thats all for today people! Keep in touch and regularly check this!
Miss you all,
Take care x
