On the 23rd we had to get up far 2 early!!! No one whould see 4.45am! We headed off to the airport for a day of travelling to Buenos Aires via Santiago. Jacqui was happy as she managed to get the new Harry Potter book in the airport and set to reading it all We got in after 7pm and waited for Euge?s mum to arrive before heading out for dinner.
On the 24th we headed off out into the city for a leisurely walk around the historical buildings. We tried to visit the Theatre Colon - 7 storey theatre that is over 100 years old but they are currently restoring it. We headed off to the Cultural centre to see if there was any shows on and had a lovely coffee break. That night we headed off to an Argentina Steak house for dinner - lovely slab of meat that was so tasty. Euge tried the local sausages instead.
On the 25th we did a walking tour of the city - the city is very Paris like lots of lovely old buildingd. We visited the Plaza de Mayo where the National Government and Cathedral is. We headed off to the church where Eva Peron got married. It was a lovely cultural day visiting little craft stalls hidden away in small streets and we eve found a pharmacy kept in its original format from the 1800´s
