So its been a while since I last updated. Since aufswitsch we've been to a salt mine in krakow which was interesting, but so crowded, would have been better if we hadn't been herded around the place as well. We also had king of dorks in our guide group who was wearing a 'surfing survival guide' t shirt. He blatantly hadn't been surfing in his whole life. We also had a night out in krakow which was interesting... Bought a bottle of vodka for about 3 quid and took that down like a man, bwfore spilling a large amount of coke on my only pair of shorts. I should mention here that I did have 2 pairs but broke one when doing the flies up in a rush. So since then I have been wearing my swim shorts. Fun. We got a night train from krakow to Budapest on Saturday night, allegedly to take 9hours, it didnt, it took 14 and we didn't arrive in our hostel in Budapest til 1pm yesterday. Probs shouldnt complain, the less time we spend in this ex soviet prison the better. The showers have no curtains and opposite is a wall of mirrors. So yep you can see everything of everyone and visa versa. Other than that we met up with toms mates last night for some beers, so cheap! Today we had a lie in and have walked around Budapest, taking in the sights. Climbed to top of hill with a cathedral on and had the best view like ever. Amazing. We chowed down on some really nice goulash for lunch before I did a chunder burp and became chunderbird 2. The aim now is for Tom to become chunderbird 3. Which hopefully will occurred either tonoght on the razz in Budapest or in Serbia at the beer fest. We also looked round st Stevens basillica in Budapest, which was really nice until James conned the church out of money by lighting a prayer candle and not paying full amoint. Ah well we all knew he was going to hell anyway.
I must rush anyway, I have drinking and food to catch up on before a day at a spa 2m, wellgroomedLAD. I'm informed that there will be WiFi in Serbia, not sure how reliable that info is. Hopefully update then. Also note a change to our travel plans, instead of rijeka were now going to zagreb to avoid having to wait around on a s***tt cold platform in pivka at midnight for 5hours.
Over and out. Xx
Ps - James attempted to speak to girls on night train. But they were Belgian and ignored him for rest of the trip as soon as they realised he was from a proper country.
Pss - if you ever get the chance to go to krakow, do it, even if its only for the kebabs there. Packed full. Best kebab ever.
