Today we started the Gibb River road. We drove to Emma gorge and went on a 1.6 km walk. On the walk we nearly stepped on a tree snake. At the swimming hole and water fall we found some hot springs coming out of the wall and we also found three cane toads behind the waterfall. The water was cold but the springs were much warmer. On Sunday we drove to Lake Argyle resort. The resort is nice and the lake is Awesome. When we first got here we went for a swim in the horizon pool. Then we went fishing and swimming off the pontoon. On Friday we drove from Katherine to Timber creek and then we drove a little way out and we stayed at big horse creek. We saw lots and lots of big boab trees. We set up then went for a look down at the river. It was a nice river but there is saltwater crocs in it. Then we went back and had a look at some of the big, fat boab trees. In the last 3 days we've stayed at Wangi falls in Licthfield national park. During this time we have been to Florence falls, an old tin mine, an old homestead, Sandy creek falls, Adelaide river and a town called Batchelor. We also saw magnetic termite mounds, they are thin and long pointing north and south. Yesterday we went and did some shopping, I bought some more books to read. They are called Just Annoying and the Very Bad Book. Then we went into the middle of the city and had lunch on the water front. After that we went to the wave pool. We stayed there for four hours. It is like a big pool with pretty big waves.
