Finally arrived in Sydney on the 18th after a six hour delay, a poor old man had a heart attack an hour into the flight so we had to go back to Jo'Burg and he was taken to hospital then it took another hour to re-fuel the plane. Its amazing here although it seems the British weather has followed us! Its such a beautiful city, so much to see and do, it was like a dream when we flew over the Opera House and Bridge. We have done lots of things, had a front of house tour of th Opera House, Darling Harbour and Sydney Aquarium of course - love Aquariums. Went up Sydney Tower - unreal views from the top. We have made full use of Sydneys busses, trains, monorails and ferrys too, exploring all over! Have been out a few times too, met up with a fellow Radyr student too (Huw). We are now in Manly soaking up the sort of sun and Jack has rediscovered the pleasure of ice-cream. Everyone here is so friendly, its true what people say about the Aussies being friendly. Jack has picked up the accent well and is putting it on at every opportunity, and now everything he says is shortened and ending in 'y' or 'ie'. Have lots more to do and see so will keep you all updated whenever we can! We have a new camera so all of our sydney photos will be posted soon, just need to get them on to disc or wait till the laptop is fixed, wont be too long!Hope everyone is enjoying uni, or whatever you are all doing with yourselves!
