Third day of language school and we are onto verbs and learning how to order from the markets. This will come in use tomorrow.
Enjoyed an afternoon exploring the smaller villages in the afternoon. First stop Trequanda . A small hilltop village which has some of the original walls and Cacciaconti Castle. The 13 Century church , Church of San Pietro has an unusual rustic facade with alternating stone of travertine and brown ochre local stone.
Great innovation in the car park before you start the steep walk into the town - a water machine where for 5c a litre you can fill your water bottle with acqua naturale or frizzante. Would love to see this take off around the world!
