Wow i made it, after a 10 and a bit hour journey due to problems with Volcanic Ash and a cab ride that scared the hell out of me im here.
My hotel is lovely, very cosy and clean and i slept like a baby last night from 8pm chicago time till 7am this morning. So i was up for the day and what a day it's been.
I dont even know where to start and i wish you where all here to share it with me but hey ho.
The weather is rainy and a bit cold and i have never seen fog like it, you cant even see half way up a building never mind the top. So the trip to Sears Tower today was out of the question.
My hotel is one block from Michigan Avenue or (AKA) Magnificent Mile). To me and you it's the street with lots of shops like Saks, Bloomingdales, Cartier and such. I also visited Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue Bridge and Millennium Park to see the Giant Silver Bean in fact i have been all over today. I even took an open top bus tour and that's when it decided to rain, typical. I also checked out Oprah Winfrey's house, well the outside anyway and the begining of Route 66 from Chicago.
Anyway cold, wet and sporting my Kagool i have stopped for a real Chicago pizza and a free WIFI session to let you all know whats occuring. I shall post some of my photo's tomorrow or latter depending on if i pass out from delayed jet lag or not.
Yall have a nice day now.
