Today I woke up to my final day in India. I headed out for some breakfast before packing all of my things and heading to my tourist taxi. I had an afternoon of sightseeing. Things like India gate, Parliament House, lotus temple, another temple and hunamuns tomb. Once I finished my site seeing I got dropped off at the airport a little earlier than planned at 6 30pm. I didn't fly till 11 30pm so once I checked in I went for a few last beers and some grub. I ended up losing track of time and was the last person on the plane! I nodded off a few times but didn't really sleep that we'll as it was a 4 hour flight to Guangzhou.
India Summary
Since arriving in India 2 weeks ago my whole view on the country has changed completely. I thought it was a smelly country with rubbish everywhere and the locals just looking to scam you at any given opportunity. This is true. But there is so much more to India. The amazing people you meet, some travellers and some locals, the amazing cuisine and kingfisher beer. The stunning scenery out of the main busy cities and there overall dedication to there religion. Everybody seems so calm at all of the temples and it just makes you think about what you actually believe in for a second. It's been fascinating trying new foods, new modes of transport, mixing in with the locals and also learning about the history of India and how religion plays a massive part in nearly everybody's lives here. Yes I've seen some horrible sights, poverty, the biggest slums in Asia, disabiled people crawling along the streets like crabs, farmyard animals around every corner, with some of them attacking and eating each other. But that's just part and parcel of the whole India experience. I'm really glad I came here and look forward to my next little adventure! CHINA
