Wow....I actually need a moment to compose, as this has been pretty mental. I mean the past what, 2 weeks or so? One would say its like being a squirrel on the wheel, without breaks though. I was going to get a picture of some super busy situation but then just couldn't be bothered...Anyway lets get on with this.
So we have finally made it to Aston Clinton - to Amy's dad. What have we done so far. Both me and Amy have quit our jobs - yay! Amy had a massive leaving due where as I..well not so much :) hehe, then again she has been working in Bird & Co for like umm 7 years + , where as I only worked at my place for 3 months. Either way. Of course we have moved out from our Grantham room. That went kinda smooth, the biggest issue for both (well for Amy ) was how to pack our lives into 15kg. On my last day I get this rather distressed email from Amy saying - WE CANNOT LIVE OFF 15kg - THAT IS JUST NOT ENOUGH. What basically happened is that she tried to pack her stuff on her own...and she had managed to fill the bag with like 2/3 of the stuff still not in it. When I told her we need to cut down on stuff we can take with us then she flat out refused :) So by the time I got home she gave up packing. Amy had a hard time accepting that most of the stuff she wanted to take with her we either didn't need or could buy in Asia. Long story short, after rowing what she can take and what she cant take I pretty much chucked away the 2/3 of her stuff that she thought she "needs" to take with her. And in the end when I was done with preliminary packing of her stuff, she had half of the bag empty....Women.... and their packing....:)
Here we are now then, 2 days to go and what do we have. Money exchanged into various currencies - check. Final packing - nop, still got to do that, will do that on wednesday. Our trip full planned out - nop, still got LOOOADS to do with that - yea yea I know :) but hey this is going to be awesome cause what's the worst that can happen? Oh not much - just end up on some hut with muddy floor, cockroaches singing us a lullaby and with some 20 asians next to us. Cause in reality we got the skeleton of the trip planned, rest :) Hakuna Matata - in other words - no worries - we will decide there and then. I'm sure our parents love this kind of planning :)
But what can I say - this is a trip that me and Amy have been waiting for/planning for about past 9-12 months (ever since we got back from Oz) and it is going to be the best time ever. We are going to fly to Kuala Lumpur, Vietnam, Cambodia and then end up in Australia :)
Preparations for the trip are as good as they can get and luckily we both are rather savvy with it.
P.S. Weather in Kuala Lumpur - HEAVY Rain Showers :) Quality :p
