Hey Dad, go onto the photo album and rather than clicking on the 'view slideshow' button you just need to look below that where all the photos in the album are displayed as thumbnails, then click on the first photo of the album. Once that has loaded up, you will see that below the photo there are 'previous' and 'next' buttons that you can look through the album with at full size without all that silly zooming in stuff that goes on with the slideshow.. hope all is well and Joe's room isn't too much hassle. To mum! hi! glad to hear you are well entertained at home! Even though Richard has been taking very good care of us and giving us food etc, we havent really been out with him much as he has been pretty busy. Thats why there are no pictures. We get our tickets tomorrow to head up to Chiang Mai on Monday and will try to get a picture for you b4 then.. did you like the picture of the pricewaterhouse sign and office? I took that for your reference.. lots of love J XXXXXXX
Mum
Great to hear from you and to see you are putting the sandcastle buckets of childhood holidays to a novel use! Please can you send me a picture of my little brother too, at some stage, unless you've already left Bangkok by the time you read this. We're having a very exciting weekend - Dad is decorating Joe's bedroom and I'm sewing labels on his school uniform and worrying about whether I've picked the right fabric for the curtains! Enjoy your freedom!! Lots of love, Mum xxx
Dad
J, Thanks for the first batch of pictures. Unfortunately, many of them seem to have come through at ridiculous angles - I seem to remember this happened the last time you drank too much Thai beer. Keep us posted on travel plans, and keep safe. Love to you both, Dad

Hi! just to let people know, it is best NOT to click on the 'view slideshow' button when looking at photos on this site as it cuts them down into weird sizes meaning you miss quite alot out. Instead just click on the photos in the album and navigate through them using the buttons below. Mum and Dad.. have you been on this site yet? Richard is looking after us very well and has just gone off to the Burmese border today for a spot of mountain biking. We are off to the weekend market today which covers about a square mile of land! Hi to everyone at Carngowil! hope all is well and the speed of your Welsh internet does not mean waiting for ages to see the pictures! Updates coming soon and I hope you enjoy the pictures. J x

Hi daddy and all!! hows things? hope you are all well, if you have seen our photos you'll see we're enjoying ourselves massively! Bangkok is one INSANE city! We had a long flight out here...i think about 15hours and it was great to finally get to Richards flat. An awesome place to relax! I'm loving the bartering with the market people, they all make you feel really bad for cutting the cost down so much! J and i have been able to knock prices down pretty goddam well! Last night we met with Davina and Alyss etc which was cool, they're staying on koh san road...tourist central but still a great place. We had this thai wiskey and it hit us SO much more than we expected! Ehhhh, not nice atall! Today has been my most favorite day so far, we went to a more rural district of the city and were able to get some wicked photos. Tomorrow we're planning on going to the Grand Palace we'll hop on the river taxi for about 20p. haha. Things are amazingly cheap...a can of coke costs about 15p max. The ray ban hunt isn't going to well, althought i have a feeling we'll have some luck at the weekend market...which i CANNOT wait for! How is Carngowil?! Is the weather good? And is the engine on the boat working again?! Oh dear!! It's 02.30am here so better head to bed! Lots and lots of love and hugs, keep in touch. Alice x x x x x x ps had some trouble uploading the 2nd album of photos so we shall try again tmrw x x x
